Description

The RC661 USB Charger/ Tamper Resistant Receptacle offer two USB charging ports and one Tamper-Resistant receptacle. This RC661 is able to charge any current electronic devices simultaneously, including smart phones, tablets, e-readers, cameras and MP3 players. What’s more, it has the capability to charge new device required higher current rating in the future. All you will need is a USB cable to connect to one of the two USB ports.

INSTALLATION CAUTION:

*To avoid fire, shock, or death, turn off power at circuit bleaker or fuse and test that power is off before wiring.

*Use Dual USB interfaces and a three-pronged wall socket (RC661) receptacle with copper or copper-clad wire. Do not use it with aluminum wire.

*Do not install Dual USB interfaces and a three-pronged wall socket (RC661) receptacle on a circuit that powers life support equipment because if the RC661 trips, it will shut down the equipment.

*For installation in wet locations, protect the Dual USB interfaces and a three-pronged wall socket (RC661) receptacle with a weatherproof cover that will keep both the receptacle and any plugs dry.

*Must be installed in accordance with national and local electrical codes.

*If you are unsure or uncomfortable about performing the installation, please consult a qualified electrician.

1. For retrofit applications, remove wall plate and mounting screws.
2. Carefully remove the existing receptacle from the box.
3. Disconnect the wiring from the old receptacle.
4. Connect the RC661 per wiring diagram: black lead to hot wire. White lead to neutral wire, green load to ground wire.
5. Tighten every screw and no bare conductors are exposed, 9-12 pound inch (1.0-1.4 Nm) of torque.
6. Insert the RC661 into the wall box carefully, which size will be 3-3/4” x 2-1/4” x 3-3/16” Deep or 20.3 Cu-in.

7. Mount RC661 into the wall box with screws provided and mount wall plate
8. Restart power at circuit breaker, installation is complete.

LIMITED WARRANTY AND EXCLUSIONS

We warrant to the original consumer purchaser and not for the benefit of anyone else that Dual USB interfaces and three pronged wall socket(RC661) at the time of its sale by our company is free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use for one year from the purchase date. Our only obligation is to correct such defects by repair or replacement, at its option, if within such one year period the product is returned prepaid, with proof of purchase date, and a description of the problem to our company.

This warranty excludes and there is disclaimed liability for labor for removal of Dual USB interfaces and three pronged wall socket(RC661) or in an improper environment, overloaded, misused, opened, abused, or altered in any manner, or it is not used under normal operating conditions or not in accordance with any labels or instructions.

There are no other or implied warranties of any kind, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, but if any implied warranty is required by the applicable jurisdiction the duration of any fitness for a particular purpose is limited to one year.
